Biogradsko Lake is the largest mountain lake in Montenegro. The lake is located 16 km from the town of Kolašin on the mountain Bjelasica. The lake is part of the National Park Biogradska Gora. Lake Biograd is filled with water from Biogradska Reka which is 8km long. The lake is the Jezerštica River that flows into the Tara River, which is called the tear of Europe. Alongside the lake are built tourist facilities - national restaurant, bungalows, rest area. Water in the lake is extremely clear and clean but has a beautiful green color because it depicts the surrounding green forest. At the lake you can take a boat and ride the lake and enjoy its beauty. Except in the lake, you can also enjoy hiking through the forest in the vicinity of the lake. Biogradsko Lake is suitable for all types of tourists from hiking and hiking to kayaking or cycling. The journey goes through the beautiful canyon of the river Moraca, next to the Moraca Monastery, through the city of Kolašin. When you pass Kolasin after fifteen minutes of driving, turn right for Biogradska Gora, where after a few kilometers you reach the unlikely Biogradsko Lake.
